Manchester United Turkish Airlines at Old Trafford, Manchester
Press Launch
Staged at Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium, DesignScene designed, built a stage set and specified and installed technical production - sound, lighting and AV elements - for this press launch, to announce a new partnership between Turkish Airlines and the UK's highest profile football club.
In attendance was David Gill, MD of Manchester United and Sir Alex Ferguson, together with a selection of first team players.
Timeframe was short for the DesignScene team, who co-ordinated everything needed to take the project from the initial brief to completion in just two weeks.
The stage set was designed to reflect the airline industry with a high gloss grey wing shaped stage and top table. DesignScene designed and had a custom skin printed for the curved back wall of the set which included prominent Turkish Airline and Manchester United branding and other striking graphics.
On the guest list were an assortment of international press and media - including SKY Sports, MUTV and over 100 special guests.
The whole event was filmed, for which audio feeds were supplied by the DesignScene sound system and engineers.
